Exceptional and individual, Tiziana Redavid's jewelry creations are for a very special woman who wants to manifest her self-expression with captivating simplicity.
Tiziana Redavid's fashion jewelry has become a fashion phenomenon, celebrating its worldwide success in London, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and beyond.
Material: Non-oxidizing stainless steel springs
The Story:
In February 1987, architecture student Tiziana Redavid visited a friend's factory in Turin, which produced industrial springs. The production halls were covered with coiled wires.
The young student was fascinated and, in a playful flight of fancy, adorned her wrists with the objects. She quickly discovered the resemblance to African art, and the idea arose to reinterpret the industrial objects as jewelry.
For example, a bracelet is made from 97 stainless steel springs that comfortably and lightly adapt to the wearer's wrist. 97 springs for the launch year of "La Mollla®", 1997.
"La Molla" is the Italian word for spring, which became the brand name of her label. The three "lll" are reminiscent of the dynamic movement of a spring.
With a well-thought-out strategy, the bracelet was launched in Paris for the first time. After a short time, the fashion capitals London, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and others also discovered "La Mollla".
The press celebrated the creative jewelry as the discovery of the century.
