- Description
The jewelry creations by Tiziana Redavid are exceptional and individual, presented for a very special woman who wishes to manifest her self-expression in captivating simplicity.
Tiziana Redavid's fashion jewelry has become a fashion phenomenon, crowned with worldwide success in London, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and beyond.
Material: Non-oxidizing stainless steel springs
The Story:
In February 1987, architecture student Tiziana Redavid visited a friend's factory in Turin, which manufactured industrial springs. The production halls were covered with coiled wires.
The young student was fascinated and, in a playful flight of fancy, adorned her wrists with the objects. She quickly discovered the similarity to African art, and the idea of reinterpreting the industrial objects as jewelry was born.
A bracelet, for example, is made of 97 stainless steel springs that comfortably and lightly adapt to the wearer's wrist. 97 springs for the launch year of "La Mollla®", 1997.
"la Molla" is the Italian word for spring, which became the brand name of her label. The three "lll" are reminiscent of the dynamic movement of a spring.
With a well-thought-out strategy, the bracelet was launched in Paris for the first time. After a short time, fashion capitals like London, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and others also discovered "La Mollla."
The press celebrated the creative jewelry as the discovery of the century.
