Optimal, value-preserving care for a valuable product

1. Protect your clothes
We recommend that you place products made from fine animal hair in a wash bag or pillowcase. Make sure the bag is properly closed. To provide even more protection, throw a few towels in the washing machine as a "cushion". Please do not add anything that could cause damage (eg jeans, T-shirts with any kind of patches, etc.). Of course, only wash clothes of similar colors.

2. Use only wool detergent
It is important to choose a neutral detergent developed for delicate pet hair products (eg Tenemoll from our webshop). We recommend avoiding the use of fabric softeners.

3. Pay attention to the water temperature
Only use cooler water for the wash and rinse cycle. Hot water not only discolors, but also damages the delicate fine animal hair and causes it to shrink.

4. Choose a gentle program
Always set your washing machine to the wool or hand wash cycle (max. 30°) to prevent the items from stretching or twisting. If your washing machine also allows you to select a spin cycle, make sure to select the shortest possible one or stop the spin cycle manually.

5. Do not use a dryer
Never use the dryer on your fine pet hair products. Lay your washed garments on a flat surface to dry, taking care to avoid direct sunlight or other heat sources that could cause damage. We recommend that you turn the pieces over at least once to allow them to dry well on both sides.
