🧼 Care instructions for your mohair scarf
To ensure your YUKAI scarf retains its shape and softness for a long time, we recommend hand washing – ideally with Tenemoll from our webshop.
🪶 1. Wash gently
Place the garment in a wash bag or pillowcase to protect it from friction. Add a few towels for extra protection of the delicate fibers.
🧴 2. Use mild detergent
Only use delicate wool detergents formulated for pet hair. Avoid fabric softeners to preserve the fiber structure.
💧 3. Cool water temperature
Use cold to lukewarm water (max. 30°C). Hot water can damage or discolor mohair fibers.
🌀 4. Gentle program
Select the wool or hand wash cycle and reduce the spin cycle to a minimum to avoid twisting or warping.
🌬️ 5. Air dry
Please do not tumble dry . Lay the scarf flat on a towel and let it air dry – away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Turn it over once to ensure even drying on both sides.
